Essay

Dissertation is devoted to development of means for monitoring and analysis of nonsinusoidal conditions in distribution systems. The intelligent system for monitoring nonsinusoidal conditions in distribution systems is developed on the basis of the indirect measurements of nonsinusoidal condition indices. Principles of forming neural network structure for the monitoring system are developed in the research as well. The method of on-line analysis of harmonics sources characteristics in distribution systems on the basis of error analysis of quality indices of nonsinusoidal conditions is proposed. It allows controlling appearance of new nonlinear loads or feature of capacitors use in the distribution system.
