Objekt: the works of the Renaissance writers. Aim: to determine the peculiarities of the realization of the metatextual potential of Shakespeare's "Hamlet" in the intellectual context of the Late Renaissance. Methods: hermeneutical, intertextual. Scientific novelty: for the first time in the Ukrainian literary studies an attempt is made to specify the usage of the categories "metatext", "metatextuality", "literary projection" and to represent the experience of their application when structuring the open dynamic system of Hamlet discourse. Approved in 9 publications. The sphere of use: literature and high sckool practice.
