Object: the process of socio-economic conditions of the farmers. Aim: To develop theoretical and methodological bases and practical recommendations to improve the socio-economic conditions of the farmers. Methods: monographic, systems analysis, expert evaluations, abstract-logical, statistical, correlation and regression analysis, Economics and Mathematics. Results: The methodical approach to assess the relationship of social development of rural areas and the effectiveness of management of agricultural enterprises, as well as determination of the impact of some socio-economic factors on performance. Measures is increasing the efficiency of agricultural enterprises by improving social conditions in the area. New ness: formulated the concept "socio-economic conditions of the agricultural enterprises" and classified the socio-economic conditions of the farms, methodical approaches to analyze the impact of some socio-economic conditions on the indices of economic efficiency of management, the methodology for ranking areas by integral indices economic efficiency of agricultural enterprises and development of socio-economic conditions.
