Essay

Subject of research: systems of accumulating electric energy generated by wind power and photovoltaic units based on electrochemical batteries and capacitors. Object of research: increasing the efficiency of harnessing wind and solar energy in the autonomous systems of energy consumption through the development and scientific substantiation of batteries pulse charge method and the adoption of ''battery-super-capacitor'' units. Methods of research: experimental study of '' charge - discharge'' processes in the system of electric energy accumulation, system and statistic analysis in the medium Microsoft Office Excel 2003, program simulation in medium ''Micro Cap - 8'', schematic (diagram) simulation in medium ''Compas - 3D'', theory of automatic control.Theoretical and practical results. Innovations: for the first time the expediency of batteries pulse-mode charging from the sources with stochastic pattern of power generation has been substantiated and a method of batteries varying polarity charging from wind and photovoltaic units in the distributed (autonomous) systems of power consumption obtained further development. Obtained results of the thesis have been implemented on "AVANTE Ltd" and "IED NAS Ukraine" (Kyiv), etc. Implementation efficiency: increase in the harnessing wind and solar energy intended for the autonomous systems. Utilization field: autonomous systems of power supply based on wind power and photovoltaic units.
