Kopytova L. Political leadership as a phenomenon of modern political culture

The complex of theoretical and practical problems, related to the formation of political leadership as the phenomenon of modern political culture is studied in dissertation. Political leadership is understood as an integration of social and political activity in the frame of society, functioning of which is determined by personality qualities, situation approach, hierarchy, special features of cultural and historical fields, and directed on its maintenance. Political and cultural technologies of political leadership, where substantial attention is drawn to its moral values and populist methods are investigated. Study of tendencies of the leadership institute formation in the political field of Ukraine allows to create the model of political leader, who is oriented towards expression of integrated interests of its citizens, appearance of leader of the national scale.
