Essay

William Faulkner's and Valeriy Shevchuk's prose was complex investigated in organic connection with the main literary and fictional tendencies, and with psychology of their creativity. Typological comparison was done on the thematic, descriptive, genre, mythical and poetical levels. Comparative research of prose-writers' creativity opens a number of psychological, moral, ethical and other problems discussed in novels, in their correlation with author's "point of view". The attention is concentrated to an originality of poetics, general and distinctive motives of a symbolical paradigm.
