Khvorostenko Y. Radio and combined treatment of a carcinoma of the stomach. The individual prognosis.

Preoperative radio therapy by wide fields in the regimen of 4 Gy 3 times a week and TFD 40-44 Gy. (that corresponds to 52-56 Gy. of a conventional irradiation ) is an effective technique of the treatment, the realisation of which promotes improvement of the results of the combined treatment. The existense of direct connection between the quantity of TFD and survival rate of patients with locily spread carcinoma of the stomach is established. The dependence between change of cellular structure of a stroma of a tumour before and after radio therapy and the individual prognosis is found out. The mathematical formula for calculating the factor of change of quantity of cells of a stroma of a tumour after radial therapy is offered. The program "prognosis" which makes it possible to define expected length of life of a separately taken patient after the radio and combined treatment according to incomplete amount data about it that allows to change medical tactics in good time is developed.
