Plikanchuk O. Results of complex treatment for patients with the first diagnosed destructive pulmonary tuberculosis with using muramylpeptide series immunomodulator

Object: the first diagnosed destructive pulmonary tuberculosis; methods: clinical, physical, roentgenologic, laboratory, immunological, instrumental, statistical; the investigation is dedicated to the investigation of muramylpeptide series immunomodulator effect on clinical and immunological indices of tuberculous process and treatment efficacy of patients with the first diagnosed destructive pulmonary tuberculosis. The immunomodulator using in complex treatment of tuberculous patients was shown to contribute to more rapid disappearance of clinical symptoms and treatment effect increase. Antimycobacterial and immunomodulatory therapy used simultaneously fast arrests bacterial secretion and promotes pulmonary destruction closure in patients with first diagnosed destructive tuberculosis as compared with the control group. The administration of immunomodulatory therapy for patients with the first diagnosed destructive pulmonary tuberculosis revealed pronounced positive effect on immunity cellular site.
