Essay

Object - damage of heat - resistant steel. Aim - the damage assessment of continuous casting rollers steel and determining its plastic deformation laws including multiple cracking. Methods - the theoretical approaches of solid mechanics, modern experimental methods of fracture mechanics, sklerometry, fractography and automated digital analysis of the steel damage. Novelty - it was developed the method of the damage assessing of the surface with thermal fatigue cracks. The result of the reseach are introduced at Paton Welding Institute, NAS of Ukraine and publicly traded company "Bulat". Branch - Mechanics and Materials Science.
