Vanina G. The peculiarities of concept PR / ПІАР / ПИАР verbalization in English (American), Ukrainian and Russian newspaper discourse

The thesis presents a new approach to the contrastive and typological study of concept PR / ПІАР / ПИАР in newspaper discourse of different languages. The research suggests a system of methods for comparing concept scheme in English, Ukrainian and Russian. The peculiarities of concept kernel structure organization are disclosed on the basis of frame situation in newspaper discourses of different languages. Metaphorical reflection of ideas of American, Ukrainian and Russian linguistic cultures representatives about PR as specific social practice is compared by means of peripheral representation of figurative component in newspaper discourse. The peculiarities of expression the concept PR / ПІАР / ПИАР value component are analysed on basis of free association experiment with native American, Ukrainian and Russian informants.
