The thesis reveals the important role of scientific and philosophical ideas of Isaac Newton to such representatives of British moral philosophy. At early of XYIII century Newton's ideas about the nature of gravity, absolute space and experimental methodology were used by Samuel Clarke to Justify the theological issues.
