Essay

In the dissertation was investigated the process of publication memoirs, based on numerous sources, in historical journal "Kievskaya Starina" during the whole period of its publishing (1882-1906). The researcher underlined the main role of memoirs among other documentary publications in the journal. Also, the author investigated factors that influenced on the integrity of memoirs published in the journal. In the thesis was systematized and classified memoirs, published in the journal. It was also defined sources' importance of the memoirs in this historical journal "Kievskaya Starina".
