The thesis is devoted to the linguopragmatic and paragraphemic means of creating and reinforcing the pragmatic effect in English postmodernist fictional text. Means of pragmatic organization of English postmodernist fictional text, its main principles of composition and architectonic structure were considered in the thesis. Linguopragmatic analysis of the fictional texts of postmodern epoch was regarded taking into account the sociocultural situation in which these texts were created.
