Kvyatkovska L. Economic Evaluation of Productive Potential of Engineering Enterprise

The subject of the study is the process of economic evaluation forming of the production potential at machine-building enterprises on the modern stage of economic development of Ukraine. The purpose of the study is the theoretical bases development and methodical approaches elaboration in order to form economic evaluation of production potential on the example of machine-building enterprises in Kremenchug region. The methods of study are the methods of analysis, synthesis, historical-logical, SWOT-analysis, statistical analysis, grouping and generalization, expert evaluations, modelling, prognostication, correlation and regressive analyses. The theoretical and practical results, suggested in the study methodological approaches on economic evaluation forming of the production potential on the bases of complex approach, will allow to implement the production potential prognostication taking into account the changes of its qualitative characteristics. The suggested analytical procedures will facilitate the quality increase of production potential analyses at machine-building enterprise in whole and the exposure of those components which are “the bottleneck” and require improvement during further development of an enterprise. The scientific novelty: for the first time the methodological approach has been suggested to the production potential evaluation of the machine-building enterprise on the basis of complex determination of its quality; the methodological recommendations in diagnostics of the rationality level of basic components combination of the production potential of machine-building enterprise have been developed; the scientific and practical approaches to the quantitative evaluation of production potential of machine-building enterprise based on the generalized evaluation indices of the separate components of production potential which are differentiated according to the principles of balanced system of indices have been improved. The further development of economic essence of the category “production potential as a system” have been obtained; the characteristics of production potential that include a specific feature – conglomerativeness, have been studied; the concept statements on current status evaluation and perspectives for the production potential development of machine-building enterprises on the bases of exposure of the regularities and tendencies for the development of some factors of the most material effect have been obtained.
