Essay

The work deals with the development of technological bases of sol-gel obtaining technology of forsterite and spinel powders. The effect of Cr(III), Y(III) and Zr(IV) doped ions on the powders structure and properties of ceramics on their basis has been determined. Technological parameters of mono-phased nanodispersive forsterite and spinel powders production have been established. Structural changes taking place in powder minerals after their doping by Cr(III), Y(III) and Zr(IV) ions have been studied and the effect of doped ions on the properties of obtained ceramics which may be further used for radio-, electro- and laser details production has been determined.
