The influence of eight pre-predecessors (black fallow, pea, peavine, lentil, mixture of vetch and oat for green mass, soy for green mass, kidney bean, corn for silage) on the conditions of growth and development of sugar beets, on their productivity and quality of sugar beets in the short crop rotations in the conditions of left-bank part of Ukraine Forest-steppe is considered in the dissertation work. The indices of economic and power efficiency of sugar beets growing depending upon different first cultures of short crop rotations are given.
