Essay

The morphological base of luteal phase insufficiency in rats with postoperative hypothyroidism and treated with L-thyroxin only is demonstrated. Protective influence of calcitonin with L-thyroxin administration in rats with postoperative hypothyroidism is evident as it has a positive effect on the morphological state of the ovaria and anterior pituitary gland.
