Essay

The dissertation deals with the kinetics of formation, accumulation, and relaxation of electronic excitations in CdSe and CdS nanoparticles, and their reaction to external influences. The characteristic decay times of 3, 20 and 50 ps have been obtained by means of time-resolved spectroscopy and have been interpreted as the lifetime of biexciton, exciton and localized electron-hole pair, respectively. The model of the influence of electric field on the recombination process has been proposed. For the first time CdSe and CdS colloid nanoparticles have been investigated by the metod of thermoluminescence. Study of the рhotoluminescence under selective photoetching allowed to determine the homogeneous Stokes shift.
