The object - snow load that appears in the places were height discontinuity exists; the purpose - to develop probabilistic model of accumulation of snow in places of different heights of buildings, to estimate on its basis the loads from snow bags and to receive for them connect ratios; the methods - experimental methods of data acquisition about characteristics of a snow cover on roofs of buildings and on the earth; methods of mathematical statistics, methods of the theory of probability; a method of final elements; methods of building mechanics; the novelty - process of snow accumulation load that appears in the places were height discontinuity exists and influence on it of physical and meteorological factors is experimentally investigated; the probabilistic model of snow load that appears in the places were height discontinuity exists is developed; the connect ratios for load of snow bags in the territory of Ukraine are received and the engineering technique of their application is developed; the way and engineering protection frames from excessive snow load at reconstruction and new building in places of different heights of buildings is developed; the results - well-founded ratios for snow that appears in the places were height discontinuity exists and an engineering technique of their applicationare received; at reconstruction of objects the estimation of load from snow bags on the basis of the developed probabilistic model is carried out; the engineering means, used to protect the existing buildings and contructions from excessive snow load when attaching higher carcases to them were suggested; the way of protection of buildings and contructions from excessive snow load in places of different heights is applied in building industry; the introduction - in design offers of building of a bearing skeleton of the industrial building, at strengthening of roof structures of the industrial enterprise, at an estimation of settlement and actual parametres of snow bags on roofs of buildings; branch - building.
