In dissertation the modern state and decline of production of wool is analysed from the point of view the agrarian enterprises of sheep-breeding direction and processing enterprises of light industry. Developed ways of increase of efficiency of production of wool through grounded expedience of organization of primary treatment of wool in agrarian enterprises and it is developed and carried out the mechanism of their introduction. A new summarizing index of economic efficiency of production is certain, improved the algorithm of estimation and management by efficiency.
