Essay

The aim of research is the scientific substantiation of the strategic directions of developing hop-growing enterprises, forming the strategy and branch management tructure with the aim of ensuring the highly efficient development of hop-growing enterprises. The object of research is the process of strategic management of hop-growing enterprises. Methods of research abstract and logical, monograph, statistic and economic, correlation and regression analysis, Pest-analysis, SWOT–analysis economic and mathematical simulation. Theoretical results: the development of the theoretical and methodological principles and practical recommendations related to the introduction of strategic management at hop-growing enterprises.Practical results: the theoretical and methodological principles of the thesis will contribute to the application of strategic management at hop-growing enterprises as well as to the increase in the economic efficiency of their activities. Scientific novelty the thesis substantiates the necessity of forming the territorial and branch hop cluster which will ensure the intensification of the processes of horizontal and vertical integration of its participants. It will also contribute to the optimization the use of production, resource and investment potentials of the branch. Degree of introduction: the results of the investigation conducted are used by the Ministry og Agrarian Policy and Foodstuffs of Ukraine, the Head Department of the Agroindustrial development of Zhytomyr State Administration, the Assosiation of hop-growers of Ukraine. They also find their practical application in hop-growing branch activities, as well as in the educational process at Zhytomyr National Agroecological University for teaching economic disciplines. Efficiency: the investigation results will contribute to increasing the economic efficiency of hop production. Sphere of application: central and local authorities and their structural subdivisions, higher educational establishments, hop-growing enterprises.
