Hanudelova N. Traditional Pastoral Aerophones of Zakarpatie Region (System - Typological Research).

The dissertation is devoted to study traditional aerophone culture phenomenon of Zakarpatie Region from the point of view of system typology (rules of taxonomy formation and musical instruments classification, traditional aerophones taxonomy of Zakarpatie Region according to E. Hornbostel - K. Sachs classification, acoustic qualities of traditional flute aerophones of Zakarpatie Region ethnoorganology (musical instrument description and structural-typological overview of music which is performed on it ). The main thesis of the dissertation states the traditional pastoral aerophone music takes prominent place in the traditional musical-instrumental culture of Zakarpatie Region and is an independent artistic - aesthetical phenomenon, to which its specific structure and individual characteristic are typical. The traditional aerophone music of Zakarpatie Region is part of ethnical acoustic ideal of Ukrainian people and simultaneously it had its impact on acoustic ideal formation of the local musical culture.
