Object - financial provision of strategic development of municipal economy in Ukraine; purpose - preparation of recommendations regarding financial provision, effectiveness achievement and increase of efficiency of strategic programs for municipal economy development; methods - dialectics, system analysis, analogy, strategic, financial and project analysis and planning, statistics, economic and mathematic modeling; originality - for the first time the term "financial rationale of strategies" was defined and introduced in academic circulation as a system of objectives, tasks, financial provision and scientific methods of their determination; results - prepared methodic recommendation, educational materials for the subject "Financial Management of Projects and Programs", implemented by Housing and Municipal Services Ministry of Ukraine, by Ukrainian-Polish Cooperation Foundation and by the Municipal Enterprise "Kremenchukvodokanal"; sphere - economics.
