Essay

A new prospective line of solving the scientific problem of creation of electric power efficient structures of direct current multi-motor electrotechnical complexes has been offered, theoretically grounded and practically realized in the thesis. A line of modernization (development) of new direct current traction electrical complexes based on IGB transistor modules has been conditioned and offered, and structures of traction electric drives of biaxial electric locomotives have been formalized according to a block principle in the paper. Verification of analytic research results was made by methods of mathematic modeling in the paper. Experimental model of biaxial electric locomotive with the de-veloped traction electric complex for biaxial electric locomotives has undergone a com-plex of laboratory and preliminary trials.
