Lugova L. Regulation of processes of patients' adaptation to complete removable dentures with the help of resorbtive action of pyracetam and complex of bioantioxidants "Aevit".

Thesis is devoted to research of features of patients' adaptation to complete removable dentures (CRD) on a background of regulative action of complex of bioantioxidants "Аеvit" and nootropic preparation "Pyracetam". It is shown, that adentulous patients at the start of orthopedic stomatologic treatment have significant infringements of electromyograms (EMG) of chewing muscles, parasympathicotony and situational uneasiness which comes nearer to a high level. Thus there are correlations between biochemical changes of oral liquid and uneasiness. During the first 30 day of patients' adaptation to CRD there are restoration of biopotentials amplitude and fluctuations of EMG activity coefficient. Changes in glucose concentration, contents of products of lipid peroxidation and activity of antioxidant enzymes in oral liquid also take place. According to number of corrections of dentures bases, EMG and the biochemical analysis of oral liquid, adaptation of patients to CRD develops better and more effectively on a background of long treatment with aevit. Treatment-and-prophylactic application of pyracetam also improves adaptation of patients during their accustoming to CRD, but, on efficacy of influence on EMG parameters of chewing muscles, it concedes to a complex of bioantioxidants "Аеvit".
