Teren T. Efficiency of neoaduvant chemoradiation therapy in the complex treatment of patients with the Colon cancer (cooperative research)

Object of research - patients with resectable a colon cancer. A research objective: to finish efficiency neoadjuvant chemoradiation therapies with use 5- fluorouracil and remote beam therapy for improvement of the remote results of treatment patients with resectable a colon cancer. Research methods - clinical, instrumental, laboratory, morphological, statistical processing of results. Novelty: the possibility and safety of application neoadjuvant chemoradiation therapy at the given category of patients are proved. For the first time it is investigated medical pathomorphism a colon cancer, caused combined radiotherapy and intravenous introduction 5-ftoruratsila on a preoperative stage. Results: developed the technique neoadjuvant chemoradiation also is introduced is expedient and safe for patients with resectable a colon and with distribution of tumoral process in І - ІІ stages for high - and moderately differentiated adenocarcinomas. It is introduced in practice of the Donetsk regional antitumoral centre, Ivano-Frankovsk regional oncological clinic, the regional oncological clinic of Chernovtsy. Results of work are used in educational process of Donetsk national medical university named after M.Gorky and the Ivano-Frankovsk national medical university.
