Essay

The thesis deals with increasing effectiveness of conservative treatment of patients with chronic forms of apical periodontitis by developing a method of medication processing of root canals with probiotic Hilak forte and silver nitrate. Atom-absorption study of the effectiveness of the decalcifying ability of Hilak forte drug; pathomorphological study to determine the depth of penetration of silver nitrate ions into different layers of the root canal using probiotic Hilak forte as a chelate and improving methods of recovery of silver; microbiological study of the efficiency of Hilak forte compared with classical antiseptics on laboratory and clinical strains of microorganisms have allowed to work out and substantiate an advanced method of medication processing of the root canal at the stage of endodontic therapy in patients with chronic forms of apical periodontitis. The effectiveness of the method has been confirmed by clinical and radiological researches at the stage of clinical observation.
