Essay

The models that explain the features of the exciton optical spectra and the temperature evolution of the "green" luminescence in nanoparticles ZnO, embedded in a polymer matrix of polymethylmethacrylate were proposed. The influence of isomorphous impurities Ag, Cu on the structural features, thermal behavior of the optical absorption edge, as well as nonlinear optical parameters of thin films of zinc oxide was specified. The influence of surface plasmons on the nonlinearity of the ZnO film with deposited on it metallic gold nanoparticles was specified. It is confirmed that the impurity of MgO increases the range of optical transparency of lithium niobate crystal and determines its nonlinear optical parameters.
