The thesis contains the results of the control of the economic activity of the budget establishments. The purpose of science is to improve theoretical, methods and organization of the control of the economic activity of the budget establishments to improve the application of the financial resources of the state. The research object is the economic activity of the budgetary establishments. The study used methods of analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, analogy, abstraction and the concrete, historical approach and systematic method. The practical importance of the results is the improving of the systems of internal and external control of the economic activity of the budget establishments, which will improve the level of regularity and efficiency of budgetary funds. Developed in the thesis recommendations for improving the methods and organization of the control of the economic activity of budget establishments, approved by the experimental introduction of the Control-Revision Office in Rivne region and the State Committee of Ukraine for Water Management. In addition, the proposals used in the learning process in the National University of Water Management and Natural Resources Uses.
