Essay

The thesis work discusses the issues of increasing the effectiveness of anti-relapsing therapy in chronic pyelonephritis in children by the means of implementing complex metabolic remodelling with due attention to biophysical and biochemical characteristics of homeostasis. While studying the laser-correlation spectrum of urine, the biophysical criteria of the course of chronic pyelonephritis in children were identified. Use of the methods of factor analysis and logistic regression allowed researchers to define the informative criteria of relapse prognostication in chronic pyelonephritis in children. Prospective longitudinal observation of 92 children aged 3 to 18 diagnosed with chronic pyelonephritis revealed micro-element imbalances in the form of a deficit of zinc and an imbalance of the lipid peroxidation/antioxidant system. In addition, it established links in biophysical, biochemical, and clinical characteristics. As a result of the given thesis work, differentiated treatments of metabolic correction were established and offered with due attention to prognostic criteria and revealed homeostatic disorders
