The Object: the process of a commodity assortment management of enterprises. The Purpose: development of theoretical and methodological bases of informatiion resources and of communication technologies forming and application in network assortment management. The Methods: theoretical generalization, system and economic analysis, methods of sociological researches (questioning, questionnaire, supervision), methods of the integer programming, tables, graphic, comparison and groupment. It is offered: the concept of an information-communication system for category management, tools of commodity strategy of choosing and its realization risks estimation, scientific methodical approach for practical realization of information and communication support of assortment management, based rules of forming, using of information resources and communication in the commodity assortment management process. The Sphere of the use: trade network enterprises.
