The dissertation is devoted to a comprehensive historical and legal analysis of the democratization processes in the countries of Central Eastern Europe at the end of the XXth century. The state of the scientific research as well as the characteristic of the scientific sources and the legal and normative base is studied in the thesis. On the basis of the normative and fact material, the political and legal transformations in the countries of Central Eastern Europe are highlighted in the thesis.
