Rakovska Y. Socially-legal nature and determination of human trafficking: criminological research

The thesis is the first research in Ukraine in which human trafficking is considered as a phenomenon of socio-economic and culture development and an unlawful social Institute which substitutes formal social Institutes of the society by means of their functions fulfillment and is tightly connected with organized crime and black economy. A criminological description of human trafficking and characteristic of persons who commit such crimes, and also a victimological analysis of human trafficking victims are given in the work. The adapted classification of human trafficking victims in terms of their behavior, preceding their recruitment, has been proposed. The prerequisites of slavery criminalization and its modern form - human trafficking on international and national levels have been determined
