Object - national economy management process based on factor approach. Purpose - Evaluating dynamics, structure and characteristics of individual factors of production, identifying reserves for amplifying management efficiency of the national economy. Methods: A logical and dialectical, historical, systemic-structural analysis, mathematical methods, induction and deduction, statistics and economics. Theoretical and practical results - improved theoretical basis to improve economic management mechanism, based on the factor approach; approaches to determine the effectiveness of the national economy through the calculation of the contribution of production factors in creating value added by economic activity, which enabled to determine growth reserves and optimize approaches to management. Novelty - calculated the possible trajectories of GDP growth in Ukraine based on the factor approach (through the calculation of materials consumption, labor, energy consumption, capital intensity, etc.), allowing us to identify lost and potential possibilities for economic development through improved resource utilization efficiency.
