In the dissertation is conducted historically-legal analysis of the administrative reforms in the 40-60th of the XX th century in the western regions of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic. It is characterized the main stages of the international legal consolidation of the state and territorial status of the Western Ukrainian lands in the process of the affiliation to the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. It is clarified the soviet constitutional legal factors of the validation of the state communist party authority and administration in the western Ukraine at the beginning and after World War II.
