In the thesis complex investigations of processes on metal, chemical compound and alloy surfaces under Ar+ ions beam bombardment resulting in forming and flying-off particles in excited states were done. It was shown in the work that particles' knocking-off is the result of two types of processes: the de-velopment of collision cascades and multiple collisions of projectile ions with the surface atoms. It was shown that at the ion bombardment of chemical compounds and alloys there appeared the additional rela-tive to pure metals channel associated with an interatomic bond breakage. It was ascertained that final ex-cited states of sputtered particles were determined by resonant processes of particle-surface interactions as well as by processes inside the particles themselves. The obtained in the work results permitted to use IPS for the determination of the solids electron structure and the extent of the surface modification.
