Essay

The dissertation is devoted to an experimental study of interaction of izoquinoline alkaloids - berberine, sanguinarine, chelidonine and "Amitozine" drug with DNA in aqueous solution by the optical spectroscopy methods. It was shown that the berberine and sanguinarine bind with DNA. Сomplexation parameters of the berberine and sanguinarine with DNA have been obtained. In the Raman spectra of berberine+DNA solution resonance interaction of the berberine and DNA vibrations in region 1000-1700 сm-1 was first detected. Spectral manifestations of the chelidonine+DNA complexation were not observed. It was found that berberine makes the main contribution to the DNA-"Amitozine" interactions.
