The dissertation is devoted to increasing the fuel efficiency of marine low speed diesels (LSD) by using the heat of exhaust gas in ejector heat transformer to cool the intake air. A mathematical model of waste heat recovery processes has been developed. The methods of performing the the processes of heat transforming, those provide reducing the energy losses by 20…30 %, are developed. The rational parameters of processes of recovering the heat of exhaust gas of marine LSD with intake air cooling, providing decreasing the temperature of air by 20…25 C and fuel consumption by 2,5…3,0 g/(kW-h) have been received.
