In the thesis the character of electric resistance change, thermal coefficient of electric resistance and thermal electromotive force under conditions of radioactive irradiation, thermal shock, plastic deformation is determined as well as optimum parameters of stabilizing annealing of structurally non-uniform iron thermal electrode wire are ascertained. As a result of this research, the recommendations that allow improving metrological accuracy and enlarging thermal converters life are worked out. These thermal electrical converters are made of the following materials: iron-constantan, chromel-constantan, copper-constantan.
