Formation of the lyric genre of literature understood in the meaning of multidimensional dynamic integrity was researched in the study. Key factors which determine the specific sense of the genre are genre formative categories. The main content of the study is genesis research and fundamental categories' formation that are at the basis of lyrics. Such genre formative categories for lyric poetry are authenticity, dialogicity and subjectivity - each category is examined separately in details. The core material on the basis of which the research is made is L.Kostenko and V.Sokolov poetry.
