Mytchenok M. Alveolitis prevention and treatment of the patients with diabetes type 2.

The work is devoted to the problem of increasing the efficiency of prophylactic and treatment measures, aimed to prevent alveolitis at the patients with diabetes type 2, which are needed on the surgical oral cavity sanation, taking into consideration their local immune deviations. The results of clinical activities are based both on polyclinic archive data and the examination of 97 diabetic patients, who had scheduled surgical oral cavity sanation during their treatment at endocrine clinical department. Screening group was made up by 25 somatically healthy patients. Studies have shown huge spread of caries, its severe variations and parodontal tissue diseases as well. The decrease of salivation's speed of both non stimulated and stimulated oral fluid fractions, the reduction of its pH, and the increase of its viscosity in case of insignificant growth of its specific weight were observed during the sanation period. The evident decrease of both bacterial lysozyme activity and SIg A level in oral fluid and the reduction of the quantity of CD 3+, CD 4+ та CD 8+ populations of T-lymphocytes in peripheral blood in the area of mucogingival junction were fixed as well. The application of complex preventive measures during both preparation and sanation period with the use of "Lizomykoid" reduced to a second alveolitis appearance. While the additional usage of "Tumalin" helped to prevent alveolitis appearance completely.
