Essay

The thesis, on the basis of analysis of scientific literature, archive documents and also legal acts, investigates the aspects of structure and activity of Halych Class Seim (1775-1848). The essence of the colonial policy of Austria-Hungary in Galicia, during the period from 1772 to 1848, has been disclosed. There have been defined the political-juridical pre-conditions of creation of Halych Class Seim in 1775, and also its place in the system of the state apparatus of Austria-Hungary.
