Bis-(meth)acryloyl monomers with separately active double bonds were synthetized and it was shown that in the process of thermoinitiated polymerization in solutions for obtained monomers at small conversions it is possible to obtain soluble polymeric products with free reactive double bonds. Calculated from kinetic curves parameters of thermoinitiated polymerization prove that on the first stage radical polymerization of such bifunctional monomers mainly is observed for (meth)acrylate reactive center. For majority of monomers the selectivity is also observed for copolymerization with styrene. Temperature decrease up to 60оС for initiated thermopolymerization and up to 30 оС for photopolymerization doesn’t lead to selectivity of polymerization improvement but only the inductive period increases. The obtained polymers can be used for photoalignment on the surfaces of their films. These properties for obtained polymers depend on the polymerization yields and structures of aromatic core..in started monomers.
