The processes of forming and use of floating capital of industrial enterprises are a research object. Research methods: structurally-logic analysis, analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, prognostication, correlation-regressive analysis, mathematical design. Results: the model of optimization of floating capital is developed, classification of floating capital, order of planning of floating capital, kontseptual'nyy approach, to forming and use of floating capital, methodical approach, to determination of necessity of industrial enterprises in a floating capital is improved. Practical meaningfulness of work is determined by introduction of its results in activity of industrial enterprises.
