Dissertational work is devoted to the solution of an actual scientifically and practikal problem - the improvement of modern motive power air supply systems at the expense of the use of new type compressors. Research object is process of improvement of air systems a modern traction rolling stock on the basis of use of compressors of a new design. Results of the research provide increased reliability and performance of modern systems povitropostachannya traction rolling stock that will positively affect the profitability and competitiveness of railway transport of Ukraine.
