Essay

The thesis is devoted to the development and improvement of optical diagnostics methods of dense magnetized plasma to study dynamics and generation of compressive plasma flows in a wide range of plasma parameters: pulse duration, plasma density, power density. Also the influence of target material on parameters of plasma surface layer formed under the quasistationary plasma impact to the surface is described. Results of radiation characteristics study of tungsten as a material-candidate for the divertor in thermonuclear reactor ITER were presented in dissertation also. The structure and formation stages of plasma stream, generated by megajoule plasma focus PF-1000, and also the impurity influence on plasma compression dynamics were determined using modern spectral diagnostics complex. A new method based on self-absorption effect in spectral lines for calculation of impurities absolute concentrations in a dense plasma was elaborated and developed.
