А detailed inventory of the cognitive verbs has been drawn and the constituents of the lexical-semantic group have been examined in terms of paradigmatic lexical-semantic relations via implementing both semasiological and onomasiological approaches to the study of lexis. Syntagmatic and epidigmatic properties of the cognitive verbs have been studied as closely related to the paradigmatics.
