Essay

The сomplex research of expression of the functional-semantic category of futurity in German and Ukrainian is carried out. The research embraces the correlation and interaction of language units on different levels capable of expressing the semantics of the future reference and looks into their role in conveying the aspectual and modal signification. The common and distinctive features of the functioning and interaction of the future reference markers from different levels in the two languages are discovered and the frequency of their use is established.
