Rydyi N. Institute of guardianship and trusteeship in Ukraine: historical and legal research.

The thesis studies the origin and development of the institute of guardianship & trusteeship in Ukraine starting from IX century till the proclamation of independence of Ukraine on 24 August, 1991. Normative and legal acts were taken into account and analyzed so as archival materials and scientific literature regarding the guardianship and trusteeship within Ukraine. Causes and conditions of the primary rules that were governing the relations in the sphere of guardianship, were found, also their further development and transformation into a separate institute of law. Clearly reflected are the results of the gradual formation of the institute of guardianship and trusteeship in Ukraine according to the development of socio-economic formations of the state and law and the level of spiritual and cultural development of Ukrainian society.
