This dissertation is a complex scientific analysis of the problems of criminal responsibility for violation of personal right to legal assistance. It analyses historic development of the institution of legal assistance, reveals the essence of social legal determination of the existence and appearance of criminal responsibility for crimes violating personal right to legal assistance. In the process of comparison of sanctions of the examined crimes with similar crimes inconsistency and collision between sanctions were found .
